Privacy Policy

This policy describes HomeVault version 1.0.0 (Build 1).

Information and media

HomeVault includes interfaces for household inventory and property records, including item details, purchase information, serial numbers, photographs, receipts, and attachments. Build 1 does not connect them to production identity, inventory database, cloud backup, synchronization, or cloud storage. Backend-dependent operations fail closed.

Camera, photos, and OCR

Camera and photo-library access occurs only after you choose a capture action and grant permission. Selected images are processed on device. On-device text recognition may propose model or serial text for confirmation; recognition is not guaranteed. Build 1 does not upload images or OCR text to a production HomeVault service.

Purchases

Apple processes App Store purchases. HomeVault uses RevenueCat to display options, initiate or restore purchases, and receive subscription status. RevenueCat receives a pseudonymous HomeVault app-user identifier and necessary store transaction information. HomeVault does not intentionally send RevenueCat household names, property addresses, inventory details, images, receipt contents, OCR text, email addresses, or phone numbers.

Diagnostics and third parties

Build 1 includes Apple platform services, RevenueCat, image selection, image processing, and on-device text recognition. It has no separate advertising or product-analytics SDK and does not use app data for cross-app tracking or advertising.

Storage and choices

Build 1 provides no production account, cloud backup, or cloud inventory storage. You can control permissions in device settings, manage subscriptions through Apple, and use Restore Purchases.
